Fall Full weekend

...as mentioned over in my almost last-minute April guest-spot on Highlander's blog, where I hastily cobbled together what may very well prove to be Monday's embarassment for me: The Running of the Grey.

Nothing more to see over here. I'm heading for bed!

While I hung a comment there, I wanted to note, here, that I was very pleased to see you squeak in with an entry before the month evaporated.

As I'd expected (and as always), you proferred an impassioned, well-articulated piece.

Thanks for sharing and inspiring, Mike.

Thanks, SG, though I suspect when I reread it I'm going to see how much a first draft it is. I haven't been back over there yet to see any comments, Monday mornings being what they are, but I'll do so before day's end.

I don't believe I left comments on any of the other guest bloggers' pieces (so far) so I could hardly blame anyone else for skipping them on mine.

Heh...yeah, I don't remember you hanging anything on the one I posted. Then, again, I'd have been surprised if you had...;)

Oh, right. Well, sure, you know... all that anniversary chatter was girl stuff. A paragraph in I'm afraid something vital might drop off, and I walk funny enough as it is!

You call that guest-post an embarrassment?

I don't think so, Mike.

Thanks, Dwight! I was too aware that it was something I was pumping out on a Sunday night as a first draft with little time to review and no time to let it sit and come back to it with a fresh view. Consequently, clumsy phrasing, unintentional repetition and incompleteness of thought - not to mention (in a hypertexed context) more supporting links - were best presumed.

Wonderful post over on H's blog.

You are a much better writer than you claim to be.
