Thanks to Abbygal & Crypt Leak for digging this up and passing it along.

Should I be disturbed that this so fits my mood?

Because it fits as well here as it would under it's own post, a recent piece Tammy did on Liquid Television ended with a Bill Plympton cartoon, which immediately reminded me of another of his I haven't seen in a long time...

Still, if I'm going to recall Liquid Televsion, then there's one piece that quickly comes to mind...

The Plympton one I recognized immediately. Also remember "The Kiss" and "Guard Dog" pretty well, too, but really had a fondness for the one I posted. "The Face" is definitely a close second.

While putting the Liquid Television thing together, I ran across the clip for "Grinning Evil Death", but honestly don't recall it. A little stunned that I could have missed one, but apparently I did. Else I blocked it out. Not sure.

The Star Trek piece is period acting at it's finest. Leonard Nimoy never cracked me up more. Thanks for sharing it.

Grinning Evil Death was one of those right item at the right time things that immediately became a short series of in jokes for a couple of us, hence it sticking.

I'd have posted a Psycho-Gram, too - I almost always enjoyed those - but the only one of the series someone put up was a lousy recording.

A few L.T. bits that I couldn't find, but remembered, were Joe Normal, Thomas & Nardo and The Specialists. But what can you do. I couldn't find anything on Psycho-Grams either.

Your memory for the bits is much better than mine, as you've hit more that I'd completely forgotten about until seeing them mentioned here -- especially The Specialists. I only caught the show irregularly, which leads me to a depressing angle as I realize how many years work kept me so bound up, especially with all of the commuting and the pressures that mounted in two waves during the '90s.
