For the Day
Ice & snow, snow & ice --- and a turkey in the oven. Sleet, freezing rain and then some more snow are underway and expected through the stretch of the day. The automated message from the school rang here around 5:30 this morning, so the kids are off, too.
I stayed around at work Tuesday to knock out some additional projects and get past the rush hour hump, so matters are clear enough there for the short term.
Of course, it's another minor holiday, too

Oh, and in meteorological news, after two full days/nights of rain, the temps dropped enough to (despite the rain stopping) glaze everything over nicely. It wasn't too bad, though. Just north of here got it much worse.
