People Or Things Not To Be

It's always good to remember that others have had far worse days than we probably have.

Here's one family left with a terrible mystery compounded by an outright tragedy. Nancy Grace could probably name her salary with the either the Texas or Florida prosecutor's office.

You likely didn't have anyone give you a number and take away your name, though I guess that does happen to us every day. (They just won't believe we don't have the information they're looking for.)

...and at least you didn't work yourself into the problems this guy or this pair did - though having a woman walk into a convenience store and ask if she can warm up her fake penis makes for quite the story for everyone.

But, if you want to crush your self esteem a little, you can go play the crappy Terri Irwin's Revenge Flash game.

And, oh, look. The wrong former Texas governor has died.

And meanwhile in Montréal, fear and madness reigned in a high school for the better part of an afternoon...

Dammit.

Uh-oh! How did they get Rumsfield to come address the class?

Okay...I saw the incident at Dawson College, with the man clad in black, sporting a mohawk and wielding a gun, but I missed the high school story.

Dawson College is a CEGEP, the Quebecois equivalent of a high school. You didn't miss a thing.

Ah! Well, that's a relief. It would be a rough day in Montréal if there were two gun-wielding loon incidents in different schools there.

Didn't we used to play this on Mondays? Definitely helps put things in perspective when you see some of the stuff others have on their plates. Heh. I've offered that service to you once or twice...;)

Oh, yeah.

Well, let's see... I could say that Wednesday is the new Monday.

However, I think I'll strike closer to the truth by saying that I didn't want the geek-out, cry-for-help post on the new bit of clixery to be the last thing posted Wednesday. ;)
